Next week there are number of DAM related events occurring.

On Tuesday 9th March, business consultants and strategists Salt Flats are hosting a webinar entitled Is Your Metadata Falling Behind – a free online session exploring future-proof techniques to manage and govern your metadata.  Covering topics such as the shifting meaning and context of language, the webinar will also feature a Q&A for attendees to field their own metadata and governance based questions.

Also taking place on March 16th is this year’s Smart Content Summit, previously known as Metadata Madness.  Hosted by the Media and Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA), this all-day program, along with networking opportunities, will be covering such topics as big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain technologies.

What originally began as Metadata Madness — the only gathering of metadata specialists in the industry — quickly evolved into today’s Smart Content Summit, a full-day program dedicated to the evolving technology phases of our industry’s products, productions and processes, and a deep dive into the ways Hollywood and Silicon Valley work together to transform how content is created, how businesses are run, and how consumers are engaged.”  [Read More]
