Open Source Vendors “Better Prepared” For Cloud Based Delivery


In an interview with CMSReport.com, Emmanuel Garcin, VP of Jahia, a cloud based content integration software provider believes that open source vendors are better positioned to exploit the cloud because they do not rely on licensing fees:

The cloud might be a deal breaker for many software companies, either because their software is not extensible or from a licensing standpoint. Open Source companies are by default better prepared for the cloud because they don’t rely on licensing income.” [Read More]
