Activae Open Source DAM Released

CENATIC, an agency of the Spanish Government Foundation of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce have released Activae, an open source DAM solution authored in Python (as is Notre DAM and Cynapse’s

Activae uses a permissive BSD Open Source licence (in common with ResourceSpace and some other DAMs.  Full details are available on the Activae website:  One point to be aware of, the site is Spanish only and does not have an English translation yet.

I’ve been in contact with Manuel from CENATIC and we’re going to get them added to also. They need someone to provide some English translations for their site though, that would definitely help raise their profile.
