London DAM Meetup – 28th June 2016, 5pm, Radisson BLU Portman Hotel, London W1
Next week, there is a London DAM meetup being held at the tail-end of the first day of the Henry Stewart DAM EU conference at 5pm. From 6pm onwards, the venue changes to the Dover Castle in nearby Weymouth Mews:
“In collaboration with Henry Stewart, please join us for drinks after the first conference day of DAM EU (whether you are attending the conference or not). We’ll relax with a drink, meet up with old friends, make some new ones and raise a glass to a DAM good conference! The meetup will be held at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel (22 Portman Square, London W1H 7BG) from 5.00 – 6.00pm on Thursday June 25. As with previous years around the time of this event, I am somewhat preoccupied helping clients to manage their digital assets next week and therefore, unable to attend a conference to talk about the subject, however, I do plan to make the pub leg of the meetup afterwards, ‘where all the great deals get done’ (as someone else pointed out to me last year).
As reported back in March, this might also be your last opportunity to visit The Dover Castle before it gets trashed converted into a gastropub later this year. Given tomorrow’s news event in the UK, if you believe the dire warnings issued by our great leader then the impending apocalypse I predicted back in March may have already commenced, so I recommend taking this opportunity to get a few drinks in and talk about DAM before you have to deal with more prosaic matters like the demise of western civilisation etc.
