Essential DAM Planning For Museums Webinar, 16th July 2014, 10am PT

DAM for culture/heritage use cases tends to be more complex to implement than commercial or marketing contexts, due in part to the more intricate metadata models employed, but also the more rigorous approach taken across the whole project (from procurement onwards).  There is a clear need for some more in-depth information about this subject, so the webinar looks well worth tuning into.  For those who cannot make the event (which is relatively late for European audiences) it will be recorded and according to DAM Guru, notifications will be issued to those who expressed an interest when this is posted.

For anyone who has a general interest in DAM for the museum and heritage sector, I can highly recommend Ian Matzen’s Tame Your Assets blog as another great source of information on this subject (and DAM in general).  Our resources page also lists various other personal blogs and websites from a number of others who are active in this area as well.
